I love my church. It is here that I feel the closest to God. It does not have a tall fancy steeple. It don't have beautiful stained glass windows. And it is far from flawless, but this is where Jesus intend for me to be. It is here that I can reach out and I can help his lost sheep to find their way. It is here in Montgomery, Louisiana that I can help a family in need, help feed the hunger, and that's what we're here for. The signs is out. And they come for the feeding, and I love to feed God people. God provides. Where much is given much is required. I'm not saying I have much. I have very very little. I have a little tiny church, seat thirty, forty people. But God is very pleased with all of us that come here, and he is very pleased with me. And I am so very happy for all the people that he send. If they come for encouraging, lifting up, to be motivated. Or sometimes, I just need encouraging.
But we're here on the roadside. If you have any questions, if you need to be prayed for, if you're lost, if you want to talk about Jesus, please stop by. No questions asked. No application to fill out. You just say, "I need something to eat, I'm hungry." Or "Give me a drink."
And it's just that simple. Because Jesus say in Matthew 25, "What you do for the least of them, you do for me." And "Don't store up your treasures here on earth. Store your treasures up in heaven." And so when we're helping God's children, he's going to pay us back ten-fold time in unexpected ways.
And I love those unexpected ways that Jesus pay us back, because Jesus paid me back all the time. I do all I can do to be on his good side, and to be in goodness with Jesus. I want him to always use me to do his will any kind of way he can use me. God knows my heart. And I want him to always keep me humble enough to do his will. In your precious name, Jesus. In your name, Father, I pray. Amen.
